Jane Borotto (4 Year Old Lead Teacher) has been teaching at UUMP since 2004. She has a BS in Elementary Education from West Chester University, PA. Jane previously taught first grade and then worked as an assistant director of an accredited preschool. She loves the family unity at UUMP. Her goals for the children are to build confidence and nurture compassion. She feels children learn best with hands on discovery and a variety of opportunities to experience the world around them. Kids love humor, and you will find it in her classroom. She knows that a positive preschool experience will pave the way for a successful Kindergartener. Jane grew up in NJ and has lived in Chapel Hill since 2001. She has two children, a son in college and a daughter in high school.

In the classroom it is also her goal to encourage creativity, imagination and individuality. Christy was born and raised in Chapel Hill, and continues to live there with her husband, son (who attended UUMP in the 2, 3, & 4 year old classrooms), and step-daughter.
